Anyone who wishes to support CDFHS further, for example by volunteering, is welcome to come along for a taster session by making an appointment with our Training and Employment Coordinator - Steve Mitton. Our volunteer run call centre will arrange an appointment to arrange A FREE COLLECTION of unwanted and reusable items from your door. The crew of one of our fleet of modern and reliable vehicles carry photo identification and will remove any item you wish us to take as long as it is clean, reusable and in the case of "soft items" carries the relevant fire safety label.
Despite all our changes and expansion, we have retained all our core volunteers who continue to support us in our work.
